Momentus Woodpecker Sighting Bringing Joy
Going potty about nature and an awe inspiring visit to the garden
I have seen many great-spotted woodpeckers, none of which have captivated my mindfulness like this morning as an ambitious, explorative, and daring woodpecker did visit the garden.
Three things happened all at once, picture the scene, in my kitchen sitting routinely at breakfast- listening to a favorite piano concerto,’ Intermezzo in A Major, Op.118, №2' (James Brawn, The time traveler, and his muse) gathering my thoughts for how my day was to roll, gazing out attentively into the Autumn garden, the woodpecker dazzlingly, re-splendid in color appears knocking me off my post.
Suddenly, a great spotted woodpecker takes center stage and begins hammering with his beak on the apple tree trunk. A magnificent species of bird that acutely has my only attention, lonesome, tranquil, and self-composed, and admiring this bird sighting.
Uplifting, cheerful, heartwarming, enriching, and inspirational, whatever way I perceived, it is up to me to seize the moment given this learning opportunity. I am a keen ornithologist and as far as bird-sighting muscle, the bird I was looking at was a great one.
A few minutes in time, a serendipitous meeting just the woodpecker, and I marching to our rhythms, me in preparation for a new project in life, get busy! Moving forwards without interference from others.
There may not be woodpecker-style euphoria, but with my uncommon sighting this morning making me feel tickled and cheerful, the superconducting woodpecker revolution, mesmerized our two constellations loyally next to each other.
You have a great day.
